The Baal Shem Tov (R. Yisrael Ben Eliezer, 1698-1760), founder of the Chassidic movement, declares: "Do not consider yourself superior to anyone else... In truth, you are no different than any other creature, since all things were brought into being to serve G-d. Just as G-d bestows consciousness upon you, so does He bestow consciousness upon your fellow man. In what way is a human being superior to a

A MEDITATION ON LIFE-FORCE

I found this interesting/Found here A MEDITATION ON LIFE-FORCE The main subject matter of hitbonenut (meditation) is how God continually renews creation, day by day, from nothing. If God would withdraw the power He invests in the creation, the creation would return to nothingness.

This is not like the product of a craftsmans hands that no longer requires the craftsman, but continues to exist independently o… Continue

The Concept of Zechut Avot

This may help ~~~ The Concept of Zechut Avot Abraham Isaac and Jacob in Mumbai by Moshe Kempinski The concept of Zechut Avot (the merit of the forefathers) in Jewish thinking refers to the concept that, when all else fails, the Jewish people can at times depend on the merits of their forefathers, "Abraham, Isaac and Jacob". The simple understanding of that concept might lea… Continue

Living Every Day

Reading a great book this morning [ Living Each Day' by Rabbi Abraham J. Twerskie, MD]
I came across this re Prayer or in Hebrew, Tefillah=prayer,... Is an appeal for Divine guidance in achieving our goals.

It continues on with 406 pages of beauty and love for G-d.

It is beyond my simple words to fully describe the bountiful harvest getting a copy for yourself will do for your walk with the Master.

IMHO~For the most part our goal in this age is global S… Continue

What are you reading to further your Biblical study

May I ask 'What are you reading to further your Biblical study?

I might suggest a few I have read in recent time.

I always state to Read, Read, Read your Bible cover to cover until it becomes one within you Seamless within you'

My second suggestion would be too 'really research the historical background of what you believe in

The great sages of renown like Yeshua makes it a precedent time after time to go read the

Foundation of your faith

Interesting about foundation,....Biblical foundation that is, and, what is it really in a Biblical sense might be a good question. Since some folks relate church to foundation let us for the moment ponder it. For that answer to become clear, we have to ask ourselves what was the Hebrew Men's lifestyles like and how do we adapt it today in a realized way. How are we are to emulate their life's as Yochannon stated so very clear it was to walk as they walked,... as Yeshu walked [firstYochannon 2:v… Continue

What if 1.2

What if-? Your missing the power, missing the message of the founding fathers? Consider also that the oldest known religion on planet earth understands that because of the 'Ethics of the Fathers” who have gone before us, They are a memorial forever before Ha'Shem as a daily reminder of Emunah from His set-apart people. We who are hidden servants [or a Tzaddick] of G-d have given over our heart by a lifetime of questing after His Torah truth to flow from within to those who the Master sends us to… Continue

The Basic Feasts and Orders

There are six orders The Mishna consists of six orders (sedarim). This explains the traditional name for the Talmud as 'Shas'. 'Shas' is simply an abbreviation of shishah sedarim, six orders'. Each of the six orders contains between 7 and 12 tractates, called 'masekhot'. Each masekhot is divided into smaller units called 'mishnayot'. Zeraim ("Seeds"), dealing with prayer and blessings, tithes and agricultural laws (11 tractates) Moed ("Festival"), pertaining to the laws of the Sabba… Continue

Devekut with the Divine

A few musings for the new week/Shauva Tov People want the rivers of G-D to overflow their lives. But more important are they as well ready for a full immersion into the depths of the Master and all that only He can reveal? Ezekiel went from ankle high to overflowing immersion completely consuming his life. Do you remember what He did? He taught the stony heart issues with Israel the heart that had to be made a heart of flesh. Friend, When you lose your joy and the hunger for the… Continue

I am Jewish I am a Sephardi Jew..Not a Xian,....Yeshua was a Jewish man Yet it seems some people have forgotten that small yet important detail and he was not running off at the mouth with some new testament theology, He was in fact relying on old Rabbinic teachings as the cornerstone of much of what he and other taught at the time. I suggest you read the Life and times of Hillel by Aronson also Jesus the Pharisee by Harvey Falk to get a better perspective of the times and teachings that were p… Continue

TZEDAKAH / CHARITY

http://www.chabad.org/ Tzedakah teaching here

If you have been
blessed by this site,

please consider blessing us

by contributing to keep it happening!

~~~~TZEDAKAH~~~ 'Charitable giving Here'
~Help us help others~
SHALOM
Tzedakah - Charity
"Kol Yisrael arevim zeh bazeh." ="All YIsrael is responsible for one another." (Talmud Shavuot 39a)
Proverbs 29:7, "The righteous consider the cause of the poor:~ but the wicked regard not to know of it."
Tehillim (Proverbs) 28:27 27 He who gives to the poor will not lack,
But he who hides his eyes will have many curses.
~There are three tithes mentioned in the Torah...The first is intended to provide for the priesthood, so they can dedicate themselves to the work full time...The second is for your use in traveling to the festivals, and in purchasing whatever your heart desires each year...Then the third tithe (which is to be collected two years in seven) is for the poor, the widow, the orphan, and the needy.~~~Ponder this'~
Devarim (Deuteronomy) 26:12-13 12 "When you have finished laying aside all the tithe of your increase in the third year -- the year of tithing -- and have given it to the Levite, the stranger, the fatherless, and the widow , so that they may eat within your gates and be filled,
13 then you shall say before YHVH your Elohim: 'I have removed the set-apart tithe from my house, and also have given them to the Levite, the stranger, the fatherless, and the widow, according to all Your commandments which You have commanded me.
I have not transgressed Your commandments, nor have I forgotten them."
~ May Ha'Shem bless Your journey~
~Love at it's finest~
For those of you who are Brit Chadasah [Christian bible] Only~ These scriptures apply toward Charitable giving
MainSite
Yochanan Aleph (1st John) 3:17 17
"But whoever has this world's goods, and sees his brother in need, and shuts up his heart from him, how does the love of Elohim abide in him?
Yaakov (James) 2:14-17 14 What does it profit, my brethren, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can faith save him?
15 If a brother or sister is naked and destitute of daily food,
16 and one of you says to them, "Depart in peace, be warmed and filled," but you do not give them the things which are needed for the body, what does it profit?
17 Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.
NOTE:: Tzadakah [Pious Benevolent giving] / Charity is a fundamental part of the Jewish way of life.
Traditional Jews give at two-ten percent of their income to charity. Moreover
traditional Jewish homes commonly have a pushke, [a box for collecting coins for the poor] The coins are routinely placed in the box.
We have several in our home for change gathering
>Baruch haba b'shem YHVH
We are all the creators son's[ daughters]
we are all one, from one, in one.
Only our perception of what
and who G-d is keeps us divided,...
yet our heart yearns to be one'
Selah
Where you come from~~~Where you are at , and Where you are going too'..that is the three main things you need to know. Would you follow a person that did not know those three things I think not ...Enjoy your journey
Isn't this the whole meaning of life in this world: To choose between bondage to the material world and believing that your life comes from those many forces,----Or to choose true life and to believe that all your needs and all your concerns come only from the one Source of all life.
