Keep in mind that the government often pays informants to "leak" information to the public to coverup the real reasons that these crimes against humanity are happening, and to get their minds off of the terrible underground atrocities that are being inflicted upon the citizens. If the aliens are mutilating people, and the public accepts this cover story, then it shifts the blame from the true culprits, which is all government based. However, enough truth may be injected into the cover story to make it more plausible, and a little easier to stuff down the publics throats. When listening to these stories, try to discern the truth from the lies and to see the reasons behind these so called "leeks". These fantasy coverup stories would not even be occurring unless there were not more heinous crimes to be hidden. The government uses it's people as slave animals discounting any respect for humanity, much less than respect for human rights.
