Like I said before, UNIONS ARE WORTHLESS, I had been a member and all they do is sacrifice the worker by compromising their pay and making secret deals with the conglomerates, During this dying economy people are left to take a huge cut or lose all their jobs - If the truckers cannot continue making a living YOU WILL ALL STARVE TO DEATH (trust me, the gas price is going to bounce very soon when US petro dollar dies within months, and imagine the consequences)

’s drivers and dock workers will have their wages cut 10 percent under a tentative deal reached with the Teamsters union

Local union leaders reviewed and approved the proposal at a meeting in Scottsdale, Ariz.
, Wednesday in an effort to boost YRC’s worsening financial condition

The proposal will be mailed union members on Dec. 9 and ballots will be counted by Dec.
30, said Bret Caldwell, a Teamsters spokesman

Caldwell said the proposal includes an “equal sacrifice” provision to slash the wages and benefits of YRC’s nonunion and management employees by 10 percent as well

Caldwell said the union’s portion of the cutback would just be on wages and not affect benefits

YRC has union workers at four subsidiaries covered by the agreement: Yellow Transportation, Roadway, USF Holland and New Penn.
Several hundred YRC employees in the area work at terminals operated by Yellow, Roadway and Holland.
